A July afternoon. The air is out.

Field service software for HVAC shops.

The call comes in while you're on another job. Tandem books the visit, sends the right tech, texts the customer when they're on the way and gets the invoice paid from a link: one job, without the handoff gaps.

What does a missed call cost an HVAC shop?

Three questions, no email. It starts from numbers for HVAC and shows every assumption. An estimate, not a promise.

Your shop's leak check

After the work is done, the second shift starts: the calls, the retyping, the schedule repair, the follow-ups and the payment chasing. Put a number on it.

What's your trade?

We start from numbers for your trade.

You, your techs and your office. 1 to 50.

So we can compare what it costs.

No email needed. Your answers aren't saved unless you send them to us below.

One HVAC job, without the handoff gaps

Stop retyping the same job. Only what the product does today; the price book starts with diagnostics, A/C and furnace tune-ups, common repairs like capacitors, contactors and igniters, and refrigerant by the pound.

  1. The call gets answered, even after hours.

The receptionist answers your line and your texts when you can't. It looks up the caller, checks your open times and books one, or logs a lead and takes a callback request. Every call and transcript lands in your Inbox.

    On Level
  2. Prices come from a book you own.

Start from the HVAC price book: diagnostics, tune-ups, common repairs and refrigerant by the pound. The prices are national-average starting points. Change any of them, and each item keeps its cost, margin and labor minutes.

    Every plan
  3. One estimate, three options.

Build good, better and best (a repair, a repair and tune-up, a replacement) from the price book. The customer opens a texted link, picks one and signs. You can ask for a deposit.

    Every plan
  4. Dispatch it, and the customer knows you're coming.

Drag the job to a tech's lane on the board. When the tech taps On my way, the customer gets a text with an arrival time and a live tracking link.

    Every plan
  5. Sell the maintenance agreement.

Set a yearly or monthly price, how many tune-ups a year and a member discount. Tandem bills each renewal and creates the visits as unscheduled jobs for the office to book.

    Every plan
  6. The equipment is on the record.

Each customer's equipment is kept with its photos and history, and linked to the jobs it was worked on, so the next tech starts with what the last one found.

    Every plan

What HVAC owners ask first

We're only two people. Is this overkill?

Maybe. If one calendar, one phone and one invoice process are working without dropped handoffs, keep them. Tandem earns its place when you're the bridge between those: the call, the schedule, the tech and the invoice all pass through you. Plans start at one person and add people one at a time, and the prices are written on the pricing page.

We already use QuickBooks and Google Calendar.

Keep using what works. Tandem has its own schedule board, and it doesn't sync with Google Calendar. A QuickBooks sync is on the list of things it doesn't do yet, so you'd keep entering what you need there yourself. What Tandem connects is the job: the call, the visit, the estimate, the text to the customer and the payment.

What Tandem doesn't do yet

My techs lose signal in crawlspaces and basements.

The tech app keeps working. What a tech does with no signal is saved on the phone and sent in order, exactly once, when the phone is back online. That includes notes, photos, checklists and recording a cash or check payment. Anything that needs a connection, like a customer's card payment, waits for one.

Can it handle maintenance agreements?

Yes. Set a price (monthly or yearly), how many tune-ups a year and a member discount. Tandem bills each renewal and creates the visits as jobs for the office to book. Recurring plans are in every plan.

Does it keep track of the customer's equipment?

Yes. Each customer's equipment is kept with its make, model, serial number, install date and warranty end date, with photos and history, and linked to the jobs it was worked on.

Coming from Housecall Pro or Jobber?

In Housecall Pro or Jobber, export your customers and price book as CSV, then past jobs, estimates, invoices and payments the same way. Tandem shows you every row before anything is saved, and importing never texts, emails or charges your customers.

Try it on your next job.
